I've bought like 4 pairs of these - 2 for this school and previous pairs for prior airplane trips. They fold up nicely and are relatively durable (but is anything truly durable in the hands of toddlers and young kids). I keep buying them because I love them and they are so comfortable for my kids and there are no complaints. They are noise cancelling which is fine so they can listen to their tablets and I can blast my music - happy car :) I love how they fold up to fit in bookbags and for easier carrying with little hands.

Junk - Or Maybe The One Pair I Bought Was
They're cheap headphones, that's why you're buying them for your kid. Be prepared to realize the old saying of "buy quality or be prepared to buy it twice" or more. I plugged them into my sons' tablet and didn't have any sound. Thought the tablet volume was to blame because I could see the volume control go up and down, there was no sound coming from the tablet, but there was also no sound coming from the headphones. When I removed the headphones, the problem was obvious. The tip of the male connector had broken off and was now inside of the tablet. So, I have a pair of $16 headphones that I have chosen a refund on and a $300 tablet that will now be taken in for repair. To say I'm not happy or satisfied with the product is an understatement. This is no ding on the seller - I bought cheap headphones and got exactly what I paid for. It's painful to learn this lesson over and over again. On the other hand, I don't want to give my kid $400 Bose headphones and am fine getting him a cheap set if they just break. In this case, the breakage has rendered another device largely unusable so that's a different scenario altogether. If they made these in a wireless variety, that may be a solution but...it's a refund for now
