- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2024Style: Amber LensColor: Onyx FrameVerified PurchaseReally love these glasses- I saw a thread on Reddit that reviewed these glasses with something that actually measured the lights coming through. Helps so much with blue light, no more headaches after working on a computer all day!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2020Style: Amber LensColor: Tortoise/Rose Fade FrameVerified PurchaseI'm a software engineer and stare at a computer all day. These things do wonders for eye strain. I've owned one other pair of Gunnars, and both pairs have had quality craftsmanship, durable and scratch-resistant lenses, well-made frames and hinges. I also appreciate that they make non-cool-guy frames for normal people who aren't tryina be professional gamers. +1 for the inclusion of an actual lens cloth in addition to the bag.
There are two ways these could improve: include a spring in the hinge that allows them to bend outward slightly, and include a hard case. But the absence of these won't take away a star, since I knew from the beginning that these were not included features.
Good stuff, highly recommend.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2021Style: Amber LensColor: Onyx FrameVerified PurchaseI used to have a different pair of Gunnar glasses for work computing and they broke after several years of use so I decided to go with these because I liked the style. I was pretty disappointed when I first tried them on because they fit pretty tight against my temples and I ended up having a really bad headache after only a few hours of use. I consider myself to have an average to slightly larger face (I’m 6’ and 190lbs and wear large/xl size hats). Because of the massive headache these glasses gave me, I’ve resorted to wearing the glasses over there top off my ears so there’s less strain on the temple area. This has helped and luckily the arms of the glasses do have that spring feature that allow it to extend beyond 90 degrees - but not by much. Overall, the glasses do their job of preventing eye strain and I like how they have a slight magnification to make the text I read a little more legible BUT I’m really disappointed in how narrow these frames fit; hence my 3 star review.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2024Style: Amber LensColor: Onyx FrameVerified PurchaseGreat glasses, they helped me with my dry eyes. My ophthalmologist tested them with a laser and told me they were high quality because they blocked the complete spectrum of blue light.
Although they don't advertise this, they come with a slight 0.25 magnification, which I wish was optional or at least advertised. I get a bit dizzy using them for long periods of time because of that.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2023Style: Amber LensColor: Onyx FrameVerified PurchaseI no longer get eye strains or headaches. Thank you Gunnar! I have used these for 4 years now. This is my second pair.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2021Style: Amber LensColor: Dark Red FrameVerified PurchaseThese were a Christmas gift for my daughter. She reads on a computer screen for 10 hours a day. She absolutely loves them- they reduced eye strain, and she found the little bit of magnification very helpful. She raved about them so much, her husband ordered a pair for himself!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2021Style: Amber LensColor: Onyx FrameVerified PurchaseAt first I was so happy to switch from cheap blue-light glasses to gunnars. That only lasted a day. These glasses push down on my nose so hard just by putting them on that I get serious headaches and have sore red spots on the bridge of my nose.
I have a normal sized nose and a normal sized head.
Back to cheap glasses for me..

Sí tienen un tono amarillo pero te acostumbras muy rápido a ellos.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful eyewear
Style: Amber LensColor: Onyx FrameVerified PurchaseWow, what an amazing piece. These do have a slight magnification of +0.2D, but its only for provide the eyes a relaxing form when focusing at close objects like a computer screen or a phone screen, a tv maybe. NO, THESE WONT DAMAGE YOUR EYES, ITS PROVEN THAT SLIGHT MAGNIFICATIONS DON'T DO ANYTHING TO YOUR EYES. Glasses just change the way light enters your eyes, they dont change the eyes itself. I use them all the time. Have been using for about 3 months now. No issues so far.
These are patented, so, I didnot worry about anything at all and immediately bought them.
About performance.
Well, the first time, you will take some time getting used to the slight magnification for people with no prescription glasses before like I did. But eventually, I started noticing a difference, the colours were warmer and pleasing to the eyes. Its soooo good.
The frame is very light and quite feeble, but hey, you gotta take good care of them. Also, fyi, I dropped them a couple times and accidently stretched the frame. Nothing happened to mine atleast.
BEING A PC GUY, I SPEND ALMOST ALL OF THE TIME IN THE DAY IN FRONT OF A SCREEN WEARING THESE. And the results are pleasingly good. The eyestrains reduced from being unberable to being gone in a few mins of rest. Same with the dryness. After a good sleep, I can work for another 10-14hrs straight with these on in breaks between. Your mileage may vary. But I strongly recommend these.
